After spending thirty plus years travelling the world Wai Turoa moved home to Aotearoa and lived in Otaki.
"I want to spend the rest of my days as an Aunty, Mother, Nana, Oma and Kaumatua in my home, enjoying all the things I missed and couldn't take with me on my travels..."
She did. She'd turned her beautiful home into a warm and comfortable retreat for the learning and teaching of her "wisdoms". She also hosted seminars and workshops for other spiritual teachers from New Zealand and around the World.
Wai passed away in April 2017.
She wanted everyone, whose life she touched, to continue their hikoi and work in whatever direction they felt was theirs, with her love.
